Who it is for

A clearly defined role, without unnecessary complexity

Designed for adults with urinary tract infection caused by E. coli as part of a medically supervised approach. In recurrent urinary infections it may be considered as additional non-antibiotic support, but it does not replace medical assessment or antibiotics when these are indicated.

Key benefits

What the formula provides

  • 2 g of D-mannose per sachet

Each daily sachet provides 2 g of D-mannose, a dose used in a number of clinical studies.

  • Targeted anti-adhesion mechanism

D-mannose can bind to structures on uropathogenic E. coli and reduce bacterial attachment to the urinary lining.

  • Botanical and hydration support

Juniper and corn silk have a tradition of use in urinary formulations, while each sachet is dissolved in 200 ml of water.

Formula

Different roles, one clear purpose

Uropathogenic E. coli is the most common cause of cystitis. D-mannose is excreted in urine and can bind to certain structures on the surface of E. coli, making attachment to the urinary lining more difficult. Juniper and corn silk add traditional botanical support, while dissolving the sachet in water contributes to fluid intake. This mechanism does not replace antimicrobial treatment when it is required.

Why this combination

Urinord does not pair D-mannose with unrelated vitamins and minerals, but with two traditional urinary botanicals. This keeps the formula focused: D-mannose is the central ingredient, while the botanical extracts and 200 ml of water complement the daily routine.

Active ingredients

Composition and the role of each ingredient

  • D-manoza

    2000 mg daily

The central ingredient in the formula. It can make it harder for uropathogenic E. coli to attach to the urinary lining. Clinical results for prevention of recurrent infections have not been consistent across studies.

  • Kleka

    300 mg daily

Juniperus communis fruit extract 4:1. Traditionally used in herbal urinary formulations and included as a complementary botanical ingredient.

  • Kukuruzna svila

    150 mg daily

Zea mays L. extract 4:1. Traditionally used to support the urinary system and natural fluid elimination.

When it may be used

Practical situations for use

  • For E. coli UTI under medical supervision
  • For localized cystitis symptoms after appropriate assessment
  • In recurrent urinary infections when additional non-antibiotic measures are being considered
  • When a practical once-daily 2 g D-mannose regimen is desired

Important information

Safe and responsible use

Urinord must be used under medical supervision and does not replace antibiotics when antimicrobial treatment is required. Extra caution is needed in diabetes, pregnancy and breastfeeding, in children and older people, in severe kidney disease or when fluid intake is restricted. Fever, flank pain, vomiting, pregnancy or general deterioration require prompt medical assessment.

The product must be used under medical supervision. It is a nutritionally incomplete food and is not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition. Keep out of the reach of children.
